Hi I'm Dan and I'm the Owner, Lead Trainer and Self Appointed Play Technician of Guardianship Experts
I have a tendency to look at the business like I look at the rest of my life. If it isn't something I am going to enjoy then why would I want to engage in doing it?
I use that looking glass also from my learner or a client point of view. As a father of 2 young kids, everything is "how do I engage them, how do I help them have fun and how do I get them to retain this information and learn from it?" I do the same thing when I am about to deliver for a client, whether it be training or my high impact team workshops with play based learning.
I think at some stage in life, the world that surrounds us decides that we're an adult now, and because of that our brain stops thinking of play as a key learning technique and see's it as an inconvenience OR something to pack away in the "childhood" part of your memory. This simply shouldn't be, and isn't true, we should never ever pack that away. It is one of the biggest high potential styles of learning and developing still to this day!
I have 15-20 years experience in everything I teach and I've been a big kid since I turned into an adult. So I look to gamify, scenario build and fill my sessions with play and fun whilst always hitting the key objectives.
There is simply to much research and studies pointing to the fact that we learn through play and fun.
So that's what I try to bring to the table. I'll quite often be sat writing up games for first aid or considering strategic communications games or reading research on how play can greatly help adults both from a day to day standpoint but also from a team and workplace level
Play is something we should NEVER grow out of, and I am here to prove that

Where training and development is done very differently.
If you want a company that is fun, full of experience and learner/participant driven.
